In a recent interview on the RiteBite Maz Protein TV show, Zayed Khan opened up about his memorable experience working with Shah Rukh Khan on the 2004 hit film Main Hoon Na. Directed by Farah Khan, the film featured Shah Rukh and Zayed as half-brothers, and their on-screen chemistry was complemented by a strong off-screen bond.
During the conversation with Rohit Roy, Zayed praised Shah Rukh Khan for his professionalism and support. “Shah Rukh Khan is such a well-prepared actor. He is an ocean of insight. When you are with him, you don’t feel that he is pressuring you to perform as well as he is. What he is doing is, he is always observing and he is giving you his best back,” Zayed shared.
Zayed also reminisced about their fun times together, revealing that they often played video games after work. “We used to play a lot of video games together. He is a full-on game geek. He hated the fact that I used to beat him in FIFA 2000. After pack up, we would play all night until he won,” Zayed chuckled.
In the interview, Zayed candidly discussed a challenging moment on set involving a scene with Kirron Kher. He recalled how he struggled with the scene, and the atmosphere on set dropped. However, Shah Rukh Khan stepped in to help him rehearse, which gave Zayed the confidence to deliver a strong performance. “Shah Rukh taught me a valuable lesson in life: it’s not about competition but about preparation. Always prepare thoroughly for your scenes,” Zayed noted.
Currently, Zayed Khan is gearing up for his OTT debut with The Film That Never Was after his recent appearance in Sharafat Gayi Tel Lene.
