Anushka Sharma REACTS After Virat Kohli Falls Short of a Century at India vs NZ World Cup Match

Anushka Sharma shared her reaction to Virat Kohli falling short of a 100 during the India vs New Zealand match as part of the ongoing World Cup 2023. On Sunday night, India chased the target 274 with four wickets in hand. The highest run contributor of the night was Kohli. He scored 95 runs of 104 balls, helping team India win the match with four wickets in hand. Although the win was a reason to celebrate, fans were heartbroken to see Kohli falling short of his century.

Kohli lost his wicket after he tried to hit a six off a ball by Matt Henry but was catch by Glenn Phillips. Although the missed century, Anushka Sharma was nothing but proud of Kohli. She shared the video featuring Kohli’s wicket and wrote, “Always proud of you (red heart emoji).” She also shared a post featuring Kohli on field and called the crickter a ‘storm chaser.’

Besides Anushka, Vicky Kaushal also joined the celebration and cheered for Virat Kohli. He shared a photo from the match and tactfully placed a crown emoji on Kohli’s head to declare him the King.

Meanwhile, it seems like Anushka watched the match from the comfort of her home. The actress is rumoured to be pregnant with the couple’s second baby. A source told Hindustan Times that Anushka is pregnant but will not be announcing the pregnancy anytime soon. “Anushka is expecting her second baby. Like the last time, they will formally share the news with the world at a later stage,” the source said.

Addressing the actress’ lack of public appearances, the source claimed, “This isn’t a coincidence. She is staying away from the public eye to avoid speculation.” While the rumours had been sparked earlier, they went rife after Anushka’s Ganesh Chaturthi post.

The report also mentioned that the couple was recently spotted by the paparazzi outside a maternity clinic in Mumbai but requested that their photographs not be taken. “They requested the paparazzi to not publish their pictures, with a promise to make an announcement soon,” the source was quoted as saying.

Anushka is yet to react to the reports.
