Sankarshan Karhade, one of the most sought-after talents in the Marathi film industry, continues to rule the audience’s hearts with his performances in projects like Mazhi Tuzhi Reshimgaath and Nagpur Adhiveshan. The actor, who always proves his acting mettle, recently shared his spiritual experience as he visited the Mahalaxmi Devi temple in Kolhapur (Maharashtra). Sankarshan sought the blessings of Ambabai in the temple. To share the details of his experience, he dropped an Instagram post in which he explained the surreal emotions that he felt during the visit. He said that during the month of Kartik, there is a change in the routine of Mahalaxmi Devi, also known as Amabai. Recounting the extraordinary feeling of seeking blessings at the temple at 2:30 pm, he wrote, “Yesterday I performed Sangli night’s experiment at 2:30 am. As I reached the temple, I witnessed the whole ceremony for the first time … And I could feel the goddess when I had my head on her feet. The feeling can’t be explained. My eyes were constantly filled with tears …It was an experience that you can’t describe in words. Yesterday’s Sangli show was great ..”

Sankarshan also shared that although he had visited the temple several times in the past, it was the first time that he witnessed the ceremonial procession. He was apparently joyous to witness the temple illuminated by the flame of camphor at 3 or 3:30 in the morning.
It needs to be noted that Sankarshan, besides his spiritual experiences, also shares his personal experiences about life on his Instagram page. He often writes about his theatre tours as well. Earlier, in an interview with a media portal, Sankarshan said that the artists should think of testing their luck in Mumbai, only after securing their physical, mental, and financial capacities as it is not possible to immediately be successful after coming to Mumbai.
The Mala Saasu Havi actor said that “living and struggling in Mumbai is not for the faint-hearted and actors need to devote themselves completely to their work, which has no fixed hours.”
