Deepika Padukone surprised fans with her special birthday post for Hrithik Roshan. The actors are slated to appear on the big screen together this month in the film Fighter. While promotions are going on in full swing, Deepika took to her Instagram Stories and shared a never-before-seen photo with Hrithik as he celebrated his 50th birthday on Wednesday. In the photo, Deepika and Hrithik appeared to be on the sets of the film and enjoying a pizza party.
With their arms intertwinned, Deepika and Hrithik were seen biting into a slice of pizza while the candid photo was being taken. Sharing the photo, Deepika wished Hrithik, “May you forever nurture your inner child.” Check out the photo below:
The photo went viral in no time. The photo was shared on X, previously known as Twitter, and Reddit and it led to several reactions. “This is how celebs should wish each other especially when they’ve worked together! This is so wholesome and genuine! ♥️” a comment on Reddit read. “It looks like they were having pizza eating competition on sets. Good seeing happy vibe non-filter photo from sets,” another added. “Fighting over a slice of pizza lmao People are way too pessimistic about their chemistry. I bet it’s gonna be great,” a third user wrote, referring to Fighter.
Hrithik and Deepika will star as Airforce officers Patty and Minni, taking on missions and performing high-octane stunts with their respective aircrafts in Fighter. The film’s trailer was revealed in December 2023 and gave fans a glimpse of Deepika and Hrithik’s sizzling chemistry. The film also features Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover and Akshay Oberoi in key roles. The Siddharth Anand directorial film is slated to have a theatrical release on January 25, 2024. The filmmaker’s last release was Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and it was a massive box office success.
