Dunki box office collection: Shah Rukh Khan film has opened to positive reviews from audiences and has witnessed a good advance bookings as well. Closing in on a clash with Prabhas’ highly-anticipated film Salaar this weekend, Dunki marks Shah Rukh’s third release of 2023. While fans have already made their way to catch the first day first show of the film, it has now been reported that Dunki has collected Rs 15.41 crores gross in advance bookings already.
According to Sacnilk.com, the advance booking (gross) for Dunki as of time of release stood at Rs 15.41 crores. The highest advance bookings are coming in from Maharashtra, Rs 2.68 Crs gross, followed by Delhi Rs 2.3 Crs. With the advance bookings showing promising collections, it is to see how much Dunki collects on its Day 1 at the box office.
Shah Rukh has reminded everyone that he is the Badshah of box office this year with Pathaan and Jawan. The films have done phenomenal business at the box office and Dunki is expected to replicate the success. Pathaan marked SRK’s first film after four years and it collected Rs 1050.3 crores worldwide, as per Bollywood Hungama. Jawan kept the momentum going with the Atlee directorial collecting Rs 1148.32 crores worldwide.
Dunki marks SRK’s first collaboration with director Rajkumar Hirani. The film follows the emotional journey of a group of friends who want to move abroad. The plot follows the exciting journey of those who choose an unconventional route known as the Donkey Flight, showing the difficulties they face on their way. Produced by Rajkumar Hirani and Gauri Khan, this film is a collaboration between JIO Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Rajkumar Hirani Films. Dunki is written by Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani, and Kanika Dhillon.
Dunki has been granted the U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification and has a run time of 2 hours 41 minutes.
