In the ongoing semi final match between India vs New Zealand for the 2023 World Cup, Virat Kohli made another marvellous 50 runs against New Zealand. His wife Anushka Sharma, who was also present in the stadium, was on cloud 9 when that happened. With his 50 runs, Kohli also broke Tendulkar’s record.
The first semi final match took place in Mumbai on Wednesday, November 15. In a photo going viral on social media, Anushka was seen wearing a floral printed outfit. Anushka was seen clapping and cheering for Virat.

This is not the first time that Anushka was spotted during a World Cup 2023 match. Earlier in the tournament, Anushka was seen in Ahmedabad, attending the India vs Pakistan match. Over the weekend, the actress made her way to Bengaluru to support Virat Kohli during the India vs Netherlands match. In a video that has gone viral from the match, Anushka was seen celebrating after Virat took a wicket.
Anushka has been staying away from the media. The actress has been maintaining her distance from the cameras especially since it was reported that she was pregnant again. For the unversed, a source told Hindustan Times a few weeks ago that she and Virat are expecting their second baby. “Anushka is expecting her second baby. Like the last time, they will formally share the news with the world at a later stage,” a source told HT. Addressing the actress’ lack of public appearances, the source claimed, “This isn’t a coincidence. She is staying away from the public eye to avoid speculation.”
Despite the distance, fans have spotted Anushka’s baby bump on a couple of occasions. The most recent being when she joined Team India and their families to celebrate Diwali. A video released by BCCI gave a glimpse of her baby bump.
