While Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna are gearing up for the release of their upcoming movie Animal, the makers have now released a new song from the film. Titled Satranga, the song is sung by Arijit Singh. It reveals that Ranbir and Rashmika will be playing the role of a married couple in the film. It begins with Rashmika Mandanna observing a Karwa Chauth for Ranbir and then gradually presents the problems in their married life. The two are also seen sharing a kiss in this heartbreak song of the year.

This is the second Animal song which has been released. Previously, the makers dropped another song titled Hua Main It is sung by Raghav Chaitanya and Pritam while the lyrics are penned by Manoj Muntashir Shukla.
Besides Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, Animal also stars Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in key roles. According to the film’s teaser, Ranbir’s character’s attachment leads him on the path of becoming a gangster, eventually coming to face with his nemesis, played by Bobby Deol. Anil Kapoor plays Ranbir’s father in this Sandeep Vanga Reddy directorial.
Meanwhile, in his recent Instagram LIVE session, Ranbir Kapoor talked about Animal and revealed that he had to undergo a massive transformation for the film. “For Animal, I had shaved my hair! For the last scene, I had done that. So now I am growing my hair. Since I am not working on any film, I am eating a lot, and not following any diet. I have changed my entire lifestyle. I have quit smoking, so I am eating a lot of chocolates,” the actor said.
Animal is scheduled to be released in theatres on December 1 this year. This means that the film will clash at the box office with Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur.
