Ranveer Singh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sara Ali Khan Arrive For Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Neice's Wedding Reception

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s niece, Sharmin Saigal, is now married! The actress, who was rumoured to have gotten engaged earlier this year, has now officially married Aman Mehta, the director at the multinational pharmaceutical company Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd. The couple recently hosted a reception in Mumbai to celebrate their union, which was attended by many Bollywood stars including Ranveer Singh, Aditi Rao Hydari and Sara Ali Khan.

Ranveer Singh, who has worked with Sanjay on many films like Ram Leela and Bajirao Mastaani, has a very close relationship with the filmmaker. He often credits Sanjay for being instrumental in the development of his relationship with Deepika Padukone. He attended Sharmin’s reception in style in a black tuxedo, looking dapper as he completed his look with a pair of sunglasses.

Aditi Rao Hydari also attended the star-studded affair, looking ethereal in a gold-toned lehenga. She stopped to pose for the paps and looked stunning with her hair open, framing her face perfectly. She wore statement jhumkas and gold bangles to complete her look. Aditi, who has also worked with Sanjay previously, will soon be seen in his upcoming film Heeramandi.

Sara Ali Khan was also in attendance in a blue and golden Anarkali set. Sara also stopped to pose for the paps and then thanked them with a namaste. Besides Sara, Sonakshi Sinha also attended the reception with Zaheer Iqbal. Sonali Bendre was also in attendance with her husband.

Sharmin Segal, the daughter of Bella Bhansali Segal and Deepak Segal, forayed into the film industry with her acting debut in 2019’s Malaal, a Sanjay Leela Bhansali production co-starring Meezan Jafri. Having closely worked with Sanjay Leela Bhansali as an assistant director on projects like Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Gangubai Kathiawadi, Sharmin expanded her roles into acting post Malaal. She starred in the horror comedy film Atithi Bhooto Bhava. Her upcoming project is Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s OTT series, Heeramandi, a period drama featuring Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha and Sanjeeda Shaikh.
