December is here and Christmas is around the corner. Ahead of the same, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is making sure to bring in the festive cheer with much needed enthusiasm. Having said that, the actress recently gave a glimpse of the Christmas decor at her home.
The actress shared a photo of hers decorating the Christmas tree. She also gave a glimpse of her pet dog, who lazed around with her. Samantha took to her Instagram stories to share the photos. She was seen donning a beige grey T-shirt dress and she hung the stars, buntings and trinkets on the tree.
She also shared a story of herself holding the paw of her pet dog, who was lying under the cushions. She captioned the photo, “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.”
Samantha is currently on a break from acting and is battling an autoimmune condition called Myositis. In a recent interview, the actress opened up on online negativity and recalled being trolled for presenting her ‘true self, weaknesses and strengths’ on social media.
“It isn’t easy, but I think I’ve hit a sweet spot in my relationship with social media. It’s enormously fulfilling for me to be my true self, show weaknesses, strengths, and all of the in-between. Of course, ask me again in another week when something I have said or posted incorrectly explodes and I become the target for another trolling fest and I might have changed my mind, but as of now it’s sort of a sweet spot,” she told Harper Bazaar.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Samantha was last seen in Kushi, the romantic drama which also starred Vijay Deverakonda in the lead. The film gained mixed reviews from all and earned over Rs 70 crore at the box office. Next, Samantha will be seen in the Indian version of Citadel which also stars Varun Dhawan. It is helmed by Raj and DK and the team is staying tight-lipped about its plot. However, earlier this year, Priyanka Chopra opened up about the Indian remake of her show and revealed that the storylines are connected.
On the other hand, the actress recently announced her foray into production with the launch of her banner, Tralala Moving Pictures.
