Shah Rukh Khan Treats Fans On His Birthday, Drops Extended Versions of Jawan On Netflix

Almost two months after it ruled theatres, Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan is now finally available on OTT too. On Thursday, the OTT giant took to its official social media handles and dropped a video announcing the same.

The video begins with Shah Rukh Khan in his Jawan character when he warns Netflix to release the Atlee directorial in two minutes or else “Your ‘Tudum’ will be ‘budum”. As the OTT platform agrees to his demand, the superstar then says, “A gift for you on my birthday. Watch Jawan streaming on Netflix.”

In the caption of the video, Netflix specified that an extended version of Jawan has been released on OTT. “Birthday Jawan ka hai par gift sab ke liye We’re good to go! Jawan (the extended cut) is now streaming in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, only on Netflix,” the caption read.

Released in September this year, Jawan also starred Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Deepika Padukone in key roles. The film was widely loved by all and crossed over Rs 1100 crore mark at the global box office. Several celebrities including Karan Johar, Allu Arjun, SS Rajamouli, Kangana Ranaut, Sidharth Malhotra, Tiger Shroff and Ameesha Patel among others also praised the Shah Rukh Khan starrer.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in Dunki, the teaser of which will be released today. Besides this, SRK is also likely to make a special appearance in Tiger 3 in the same way that Salman Khan’s Tiger appeared in Pathaan. However, details about SRK’s cameo in Tiger 3 are still not known. Shah Rukh Khan is also likely to come together with Salman Khan for a film titled Tiger Vs Pathaan.
