Shark Tank India 3: Namita Thapar Gets ANGRY With Peyush Bansal, Says 'Mujhe Khud Ko Market Karne...'

In the latest Shark Tank India 3 episode, Anupam Mittal, Namita Thapar, Azhar Iqubal, Peyush Bansal, and Amit Jain served as judges. Husband and wife Vibha and Soorya introduced their brand Cosmix, promoting it as a health and wellness brand crafting blends tailored to various nutritional needs. Vibha Harish founded the plant-based nutrition brand, drawing from her personal health journey with PCOS since age 12. This experience led her to explore herbalism and Ayurveda for healing.

Namita wants to make an offer too. Peyush seems upset, saying, “Saare acche sawal hum puch lete hai or aap offer dedeti hai.” (We ask all the relevant questions, and you come in the end to make the offer.) In response to the pitchers and Peyush, Namita said, “Mujhe khud ko market karne ki zarurat nahi hai.” (I don’t need to market myself.) Namita then proposed offering the pitchers Rs 1 crore in exchange for 1 per cent equity, saying, “You know who the right partner is.”

Vibha and Soorya want Rs 1 crore for a 1 percent stake. But then, Namita and Anupam team up and offer Rs 1 crore for 2 percent ownership and 1 percent royalty until they get back Rs 2 crores. Suddenly, Peyush, who wasn’t interested before, offers Rs 1 crore for 1 percent ownership and 1 percent royalty until they recoup Rs 2 crores.

Peyush continues to negotiate, but Anupam keeps interrupting, saying, “Peyush chahte hain aap technology company bane, you have to decide apni company banani hai or work for Peyush.” Peyush gets into a big argument with Anupam and Namita Thapar while trying to seal the deal. Peyush defends himself, saying he made his offer without criticising Anupam’s, but it’s childish for Anupam to criticise others.

Shark Tank India returned with season three on January 22, 2024. Several familiar sharks from the previous seasons including Namita Thapar, Executive Director at Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited, Aman Gupta, Co-founder of Boat, Peyush Bansal, Co-Founder and CEO of Lenskart, Anupam Mittal, Founder and Director of Shaadi.com and Vineeta Singh, CEO of Sugar Cosmetics, returned for Shark Tank India Season 3.
