Varun Dhawan Wraps Up VD18 First Schedule In Kerala With Atlee; Posts Photos

Varun Dhawan, recently starred in Bawaal and is teaming up with director Atlee for his upcoming project, VD18. Currently busy with the filming process, he often takes to social media to update fans on the progress. This collaboration marks the first time Varun is working with the director, whose latest release, Jawan, was a big hit. Having completed a schedule in Kochi, the actor is now on his way back to Mumbai to celebrate the New Year with his family.

In another clip that he posted on Instagram Stories, Varun could be seen surfing to work. The caption read, “On the way to…(Camera Emoji).” The actor was seen in a blue shirt and white cap. He aptly matched the day vibe with a tinted pair of glasses as he sped across the clear sea. FYI: Varun is busy shooting for his next with director Atlee. The film, VD18, will be released next year.

Talking about the film with Pinkvilla, Varun Dhwan said, “All I can say is it’s a mass-action entertainer. There is a lot of entertainment in the film, which I love as well. And, I’m just going to give it my all.” As per the reports of Pinkvilla, sources close to the production have revealed, “Varun will be shooting for the film’s promo in Mumbai, and will be combining the schedule with a few important sequence shoots as well. The preparation is going on in full swing, while the makers are also simultaneously working on the plan to officially announce the movie with the promo that they are going to shoot tomorrow. It will be an entertaining promo packed with action and drama, and will feature VD in a never seen before avatar.”
