Watch: Cheeni Kum Child Actor Swini Khara Gets Married In A Dreamy Ceremony

Swini Khara, who played the child actor in Amitabh Bachchan and Tabu’s 2007 film Cheeni Kam, recently tied the knot. While she gained fame for her diverse roles in various TV shows and films as a child, Swini eventually stepped away from the entertainment industry. After getting engaged in March of this year, Swini exchanged vows with Urvish Desai in a dreamy ceremony. The actress shared a glimpse of her special day on social media.

Swini Khara tied the knot with Urvish Desai on December 26 in an opulent ceremony held in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Sharing the joyous occasion, Swini posted her wedding video on Instagram. The bride looked resplendent in a stunning pink lehenga, adorned with elaborate bridal makeup, a full gajra hairdo, matching ornaments, a pink chooda, and other accessories. Urvish Desai complemented her in a white sherwani. The caption on the post read, “Blessings and lots of love.” The newlyweds received heartfelt congratulations and love from their fans and friends in the comments section.

Swini shared additional glimpses from the wedding, featuring moments of the couple taking their sacred vows or pheras in the presence of their family and close friends. Earlier in March, Swini took to her Instagram handle and surprised her fans with her engagement pictures. Swini was photographed wearing a stunning pink lehenga for her engagement, which she accessorised with a stunning neckpiece and statement earrings. Meanwhile, Urvish Desai was dressed in all-black. Urvish was shown dropping down on one knee and placing the ring on her finger in one photo, while they were dancing in another. In the caption, Swini wrote, “I’d marry you with paper rings.”

Swini began her acting career as a young artist in the 2005 film Parineeta, starring Vidya Balan. She also appeared in the hit television series Baa Bahoo Aur Baby the same year. She went on to appear in films like Elaan, Hari Puttar, Cheeni Kum, Paathshala, Kaalo- the desert witch, Delhi Safari, and MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, among other films. She appeared in series such as Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan, Dill Mill Gayye, CID, and Zindagi Khatti Meethi. Swini eventually quit acting to focus on her studies and is a lawyer by profession now.
