Watch: 'Yodha' Sidharth Malhotra Attends Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 Playoffs

Sidharth Malhotra is preparing for the launch of his new film, Yodha, scheduled to premiere in theatres on March 15. The Yodha team has been actively promoting the movie, and as the theatrical release approaches, Sidharth Malhotra made an appearance at the pro-kabaddi league season 10 playoffs, which began on February 26.

Dharma Movies’ official account posted a photo of Malhotra at the event, accompanied by the caption, “Our #Yodha turning up the charm & grace at the #ProKabaddi playoffs tonight, infusing dhamakedaar energy like no other!"

Prior to attending the event, Malhotra made an announcement on his Instagram Story on Saturday evening, stating, “Namaste. Hello. Welcome. I am Sidharth Malhotra, and I will be attending the Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 Playoffs on February 26, live only on Star Sports."

Before attending the Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 Playoffs, Sidharth Malhotra participated in the Women’s Premier League opening ceremony in Bengaluru, where he captivated the audience with his energetic dance performances.

Meanwhile, the makers have released the first song from the film, a romantic melody titled Zindagi Tera Naam, composed and sung by Vishal Mishra. The heartfelt track features Sidharth Malhotra and Raashii Khanna.

About Yodha

The recent teaser of Yodha reveals Sidharth Malhotra in a uniform, portraying a character who takes on the challenge of combating terrorists. The teaser also provides glimpses of Disha Patani portraying an air hostess and Raashii Khanna in their respective roles in the film. The video opens with a hijacked aircraft, packed with passengers. As a commando is summoned for the rescue, Sidharth Malhotra emerges on the scene. Engaging in intense hand-to-hand combat with the terrorists aboard the flight, he is also depicted running through paddy fields, wielding a machine gun. The teaser, which lasts a few minutes, showcases Sidharth Malhotra performing dynamic action sequences.

Yodha, helmed by Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre, is produced by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta under Dharma Productions. The film features Sidharth Malhotra, Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna in prominent roles.

The music is composed by Vishal Mishra, B Praak, Aditya Dev, Tanishk Bagchi, Jaani, and John Stewart Eduri, with lyrics by Manoj Muntashir, Kunaal Vermaa, Jaani, Vishal Mishra, and Kaushal Kishore. Amazon Prime Video has secured the digital streaming rights for Yodha. After several release date delays since 2022, the movie is now scheduled for a theatrical release on March 15.
