Aayush Sharma, who last starred alongside Salman Khan in the 2021 film Antim, recently revealed an interesting anecdote about his first meeting with Salman Khan. It happened late at night at Arpita Khan’s residence. Aayush fondly recalled that he and Arpita Khan Sharma, who was Salman’s sister, were dating at the time. Arpita had invited him over after a party to watch some television. Surprisingly, Salman had no idea of their relationship.
Aayush shared with Brut India that he introduced himself to Salman, and the actor responded “innocently” with “I’m Salman Khan.” After a brief exchange of pleasantries, Aayush left for home as the situation was beginning to feel a bit awkward. However, the next day, Salman called him and asked to meet. Aayush recalled that Salman had done his research, and the first thing he told Aayush was, “You’re a good boy.” When Salman asked about his future plans, Aayush said, “I would like to marry her.” He then paused to mention that by that time, he had not even proposed to Arpita. Since Aayush was only 24 at the time, Salman asked him, “Aren’t you a child yourself?”
Aayush said, “I don’t do anything for a living. Whatever it is, it is my family’s.” Salman responded, “You’re an honest guy,” and requested him to meet Salim Khan the next day.
During the chat, Aayush also showed a beautiful corner of his house with a painting by Salman Khan and said that he gifted it to them. “This part is a Muslim prayer Ayatul Kursi. And these are the different poses of a namaz. I requested him I said I want something that spreads a lot of energy. So he decided to do this for us. He gifted this to us,” he shared.
