2023 Tata Nexon.ev prices have been announced today in India.

Tata Motors has revealed the price for its much-anticipated Nexon.ev in the country.

The price for 2023 Nexon.ev starts at Rs 14.74 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes as high as Rs 19.94 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Nexon.ev catches the eye with its single-tone, body-colored upper grille, and distinct slatted designs for the lower grille. The trapezoidal headlamp housings add a unique touch to its aesthetics. But what steals the show is the full-width LED light band, not only adding an elegant touch but also proudly displaying the charging status. And don’t forget to notice the ‘ev’ badge, a bold declaration of its electric identity.

The cabin design shares some similarities with the regular Nexon but comes with a fresh layered design featuring various textures and materials. The electric SUV boasts of carbon fiber-like trim. The traditional gear lever has been replaced by rotary drive selector.

The top-spec variant takes technology to the next level with its class-leading 12.3-inch touchscreen featuring a revamped user interface. An illuminated two-spoke steering wheel, a customizable 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with navigation, and touch-based HVAC controls with toggle switches create a futuristic ambiance with minimal physical controls.

Furthermore, the feature highlights include a 360-degree camera, connected car technology, wireless charging, ventilated front seats, an air purifier, fast-charging type-C ports, a single-pane sunroof, JBL sound system, voice commands, OTA updates, and an Arcade.ev app suite for streaming popular OTT platforms like Prime Video and Disney+ Hotstar.

The safety kit comprises of six airbags, ABS, ESC, front parking sensors, a blind-view monitor, ISOFIX anchors, hill descent and ascent control, all-wheel disc brakes, panic brake alert, and emergency and breakdown call assist.

Under the hood, the Nexon.ev houses a new Gen-2 permanent magnet synchronous motor that’s not only lighter but also more eco-friendly and efficient. The MR variant delivers 129 bhp and 215 Nm of torque, while the LR version impresses with 145 bhp and 215 Nm. The LR variant can go from 0-100 kmph in just 8.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 150 kmph. Noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) levels have also seen significant improvements, ensuring a quiet and comfortable ride. The SUV offers three driving modes: Eco, City, and Sport

2023 Tata Nexon EV Facelift: Charging Options

Both variants come with a standard 7.2kW AC charger, allowing the batteries to reach a full charge from 10 to 100 percent in 4.3 hours for the MR and 6 hours for the LR. With a DC fast charger, this time is reduced to just 56 minutes for both versions. The Nexon.ev introduces V2V (vehicle-to-vehicle) and V2L (vehicle-to-load) charging capabilities, making it easy for users to charge other electrical devices or even another EV.
