The Indian Overseas Bank (IOB), a leading public sector bank with headquarters in Chennai and a geographical presence all over India and abroad, has invited online applications from qualified and experienced professionals for various Specialist Officer posts in MMG Scale II, III, and SMG Scale IV. Eligible candidates willing to apply for Manager, Senior Manager, and Chief Manager posts can apply through the official website of Indian Overseas Bank at iob.in. Candidates should note that the registration process commenced on November 6, and the last date for application form submission is November 19.
This recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 66 posts in the organization. Among the offered posts, there are 59 for Manager, 5 for Senior Manager and 2 for Chief Manager.
IOB Recruitment 2023: Steps To Apply
Step 1: Candidates are first required to visit the Bank’s website at www.iob.in.
Step 2: Click on the Careers Page to open the link that reads, “Recruitment of Specialist Officers – 2023-24”.
Step 3: Select the post you want to apply for, then click on the Register Online link.
Step 4: Register Online by clicking “Click here to Register Online”
Step 5: On successful registration, candidates must click the menu that says, “Click here to Apply Online”.
Step 6: Key in all the required details in the online application form.
Step 7: Upload relevant Documents such as the Birth Certificate / Degree (UG / PG)/ Work Experience Certificate / No Objection Certificate (if applicable), photograph and signature as per the specifications given.
Step 8: Once done, click on the submit button.
Step 9: Candidates should take a printout of the submitted Online application form for future reference.
Indian Overseas Bank Recruitment: Selection Procedure
Merely satisfying the eligibility norms does not qualify a candidate to be called for an online examination or interview. The selection of the candidate will be based on an online examination followed by an interview. Candidates who qualify for the online examination will be called for the personal interview round. The time, date, and venue of the interview will be communicated to the shortlisted candidates in the interview call letter sent by email.
IOB Recruitment 2023: Application Fees
Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Person with Disabilities category candidates applying for the offered posts will have to pay only intimation charges of Rs 175 at the time of registration, whereas other category candidates will have to pay a non-refundable amount of Rs 850 as application fees.
