A Madhya Pradesh cop tried to save a snake’s life after it fell unconscious due to pesticide-laced water. He tried to save the life of the snake by performing CPR. The incident took place in Madhya Pradesh’s Narmadapuram. A video of the same is now doing rounds on social media and has completely shocked people. It shows the cop blowing air into the snake’s mouth. His efforts were successful as the snake soon gained consciousness.

‘X’ user Anurag Dwary uploaded the video on his official social media handle. He wrote, “A video from Narmadapuram has gone viral where a police constable is giving CPR to a snake that had fallen unconscious after being drenched in pesticide laced toxic water.”

The constable has been recognised as Atul Sharma. He happens to be a self taught snake rescuer, learning the skills from Discovery Channel.
Atul can be seen getting lauded in the comment section for his efforts. “OMG… Dwary sir.. Compassion of Indian society towards even a snake. Wonderful,” commented an ‘X’ user. Another person wrote, “My Goodness. Such love and care for the nature and its habitants. God bless him. Some people may find it stupidity… well they need to start thinking differently.”
