The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the Ph.D Entrance Exam Result 2023 on November 24. The result has been announced for Delhi University (DU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), and Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU). Candidates who have appeared for the Ph.D. Entrance Exam for DU, JNU, BHU, and BBAU 2023 can now check and download their scorecard via the official website of NTA Ph.D at phd-entrance.samarth.ac.in.

The NTA PhD entrance test was held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode on October 26, 27, 30, and 31. A total of 50,971 candidates had registered for the exam and only 35,896 appeared for it. To download the PhD Entrance Exam Result 2023, candidates will have to enter their Application Number, Password, and Captcha Code on the login window.

“The results of candidates have also been shared with the Universities where the candidates had applied. Candidates are advised to be in touch with the respective universities and Institutions for further details,” reads the official notice.

NTA PhD Entrance Exam Result 2023: Steps To Check

Step 1: Go to the official website of NTA PhD at phd-entrance.samarth.ac.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, look for and click on the ‘sign in’ link.

Step 3: As a new window opens, enter the required credentials (Application Number, Password, and Captcha Code) and click on submit.

Step 4: The NTA PhD Entrance Exam Result 2023 will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Check the NTA PhD Entrance Exam result and download the page.

The entrance exam was held in October this year for students seeking admission to PhD courses in universities such as DU, JNU, BHU and BBAU. The exam was conducted at 114 centres in 86 cities. The medium of the PhD question paper was English and Hindi except for the Science and Language papers.

After the exam was over, NTA released the answer keys and recorded responses of candidates on November 8. Candidates were allowed to raise objections, if any, until November 10. According to the official notice, a total of 320 answer key challenges were received out of which 221 were unique challenges.

The challenges were then presented to the relevant subject experts for review. The final answer keys were generated based on their feedback and after incorporating the adjustments, they were utilised in creating the result of – Ph.D. Entrance Test for DU, JNU, BHU, and BBAU 2023.
