Scholarship Guide | Harvard, Melbourne Varsity, Colgate: Top Grants to Study BDS in India & Abroad
Dental courses have become in demand over the last few years, yet are a close second to MBBS in terms of choices of students as well as the number of scholarships. News18 has collated top grants for students interested in BDS

Studying abroad can be financially challenging for many meritorious students who often opt out due to the expensive course fee, visa charges, accommodation and food expenses. Therefore, scholarships help many to pursue their dreams.

News18 ‘Scholarship Guide’ brings the best and most prestigious grants for Indian students to study abroad, with most of them covering flight tickets, accommodation and course fee; and some also providing stipend.

Dentists are no longer just fixing oral problems, but are also making perfect smiles, which are cosmetically pleasing. The field has seen a big boost over the last few years, yet it stays a close second to MBBS in terms of choices of students as well as the number of scholarships.

“Scholarships currently available often fall short of covering the entire cost of a BDS course, leaving students struggling to meet daily expenses due to the high tuition fees. To address this challenge, potential solutions include reducing the tuition fees of dental schools, raising the scholarship percentages, and introducing an income-contingent loan programme,” said Anubhav Garg, Counsellor, and Founder of TAB INDIA.

For increasing their chances of bagging a scholarship, students need to obtain compelling letters of recommendation, adhere to deadlines, explore local opportunities, prepare for interviews, seek expert guidance, and proofread all documents, Garg added.

Thus, News18 brings you some of the best scholarship from around the world for dental sciences.
