SRK Fans are Reliving Mohan Bhargav’s Heartwarming Character Arc in 'Swades'

Swades is unarguably one of Shah Rukh Khan’s best films. Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, the movie beautifully depicts Mohan Bhargav’s character arc from a project manager at NASA to an Indian citizen. A video, which is currently going viral highlights the same. It is an old video which has been uploaded recently by Twitter user named ‘Depressed Gooner.’ “This movie is an institution in itself,” read the caption.

The video shows how Mohan refuses to have a sip of water offered to him by his Kaveri Amma. He only drinks mineral water from the bottles that he brought for himself. This comes as a symbol of how “alienated” he feels in his own country. He can be seen carrying a stockpile of packaged water with himself. However, once he comes out of his comfort zone he gets to know more about his roots. Then comes the station scene where his transformation is more than evident. Have a look at the viral video:

Since being uploaded, the video has garnered over 27K views. “This movie is like wine. Gets better and better as years go by,” wrote a Twitter user. Another person wrote, “Even it’s music still relevant and hard hitting.”

Meanwhile, earlier, an unseen video of SRK from the rehearsals of the movie Swades surfaced on the internet went viral. In the video, he can be seen rehearsing his lines with his co-actor, Gayatri Joshi. It has been uploaded on Twitter by one of his fan accounts. “Excerpt from the Swades audition tape.
