Candidates who appeared in the SSC JE exam can check the merit list and cut off marks at the official website at ssc.nic.in

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) announced the results for the SSC JE Tier 1 on November 17. The exams were administered online in the form of a Computer-Based Type (CBT) test from October 9 to 11. Candidates who appeared in the said exams can now check and download the SSC JE Paper 1 Merit List PDF and Cutoff Marks for Electrical/Mechanical and Civil subjects at the official website at ssc.nic.in.

A total of 10,154 candidates have been screened for the post of Civil Engineering whereas the remaining 2073 have been shortlisted for the Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.

SSC JE Paper 1 2023: Cut-off Marks

For Civil Engineering –

• General category cut-off marks are 108.16773 and the selected candidates are 1373.

• The OBC cut-off is 106.50713 with 3403 selected candidates.

• The EWS candidates’ cut-off has been set to 98.91581 with 1696 selected candidates.

• Cut-off for STs has been set to 87.33088 and 1127 candidates have been selected.

• While the cut-off for SCs is 89.36187 with 2376 selected candidates

For Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering

• The cut-off for the General category is 131.45627 and the selected candidates are 320.

• The cut-off for the OBC category is 131.45627 with 770 selected candidates.

• EWS candidates’ cut-off has been set to 125.37901 and 344 candidates have been selected.

• Cut-off for ST has been set to 105.81252 and 187 candidates have been selected.

• While the cut-off for SCs is 116.03229 with 402 selected candidates

SSC JE Tier 1 Result: How to download

Check the following steps to know how to view and download the SSC JE Result PDF.

Step 1 – You will have to visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission which is ssc.nic.in.

Step 2 – Then you will have to find the result section and click on that.

Step 3 – In the next step, the candidates will have to click on the PDF link provided under the ‘JE’ Tab.

Step 4 – After taking a look at your result make sure you download the file for future reference.

Step 5 – It is also advisable to print the result to maintain a hard copy of the PDF file.

Step 6 – If you find your name on the merit list then you have been cleared to appear for the second paper.

Qualified candidates will have to appear for the second paper of the SSC JE scheduled to take place on December 4. The admit cards of the screened candidates will be uploaded on the websites of the respective regional offices in due time.
