YouTuber Abhishek Malhan Insults Lord Ganesha in Recent Video, Faces Backlash

YouTuber Abhishek Malhan is receiving flak on social media for ‘insulting’ Lord Ganesha. A video of the YouTuber has caused controversy and it is now going viral on ‘X’. In the video, Abhishek can be seen standing in front of the Lord Ganesha idol in his house, along with his mother. As the video progresses, his mother hands him an incense stick to light. What he did next is being deemed disrespectful by many on social media. “Content ke liye kuch bhi karoge @AbhishekMalhan4 ?? Is this a joke to you ?? Disgusting !!” wrote ‘X’ user ‘Peace out’.

When handed the incense stick, Abhishek lights it as a cigarette. This is when his mother intervenes. Although the intention was to make a hilarious video, it just did not go well with a section of people on social media.

Since being uploaded, the video has garnered nearly 15K views. “what is this @AbhishekMalhan4 really? what an education of so called self proclaimed educated insaan,” wrote an ‘X’ user. Another person wrote, “Shame On Abhishek.” “Disgusting! shame on @AbhishekMalhan4.”

Meanwhile, earlier, Abhishek made headlines after he recreated the Bigg Boss game in real life. The YouTuber keenly selected a few tasks played inside the house of the controversial reality TV show Bigg Boss to bring it to life in reality. His YouTube video began with an enthusiastic intro of Abhishek wherein he greeted his subscribers thereby also explaining his game plan for the clip. A total of 10 participants took part in a series of challenges to win a cash prize of rupees one lakh.
