21. Jagtial is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Telangana and is part of Nizamabad Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Jagtial falls in Jagtial district and North Telangana region of Telangana. It is categorised as a semi-urban seat.
There are a total of 1,77,085 voters in the seat, which includes 86,301 male voters, and 90,770 female voters. In the 2018 Telangana elections, Jagtial recorded a voter turnout of 78.28%. In 2014 the turnout was 72.01%.
In 2014, Jeevan Reddy Thatiparthi of INC won the seat by a margin of 7,828 (5.27%). Jeevan Reddy Thatiparthi secured 42.16% of the total votes polled.
