Tiruchirappalli: DMK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi on Friday asked people not to fall prey to the "false" promises made by the rival party in its election manifesto.
Canvassing for S N M Ubayadullah, DMK candidate for Thanjavur, on the third day of his campaign, Karunanidhi said people should vote for the DMK-led alliance again.
DMK government had fulfilled the promises it made in its 2006 election manifesto and would fulfill the promises mentioned in its 2011 manifesto if voted to power, Karunanidhi said.
