2:21 pm: Congress MPs enter the well of the House demanding Sushma Swaraj's resignation.

12:35 am: Congress plans protests against Vyapam and Lalit Modi. They are likely to move an adjournment motion on Wednesday on Vyapam and on Lalit Modi on Thursday. Congress MPs will protest outside the Gandhi statue in Delhi on Wedesday.

12:30 am: The Rajya Sabha yet again faces an adjournment. Opposition members raised uproar while Jaitley was giving a statement in the House following which the Speaker had to adjourn the Rajya Sabha.

12:15 am: Speaking in the Rajya Sabha, Arun Jaitley said that Sushma Swaraj will soon make a statement on the Lalit Modi row. "If Congress wants discussion, we are ready for it. We are ready to debate Lalit Modi controversy in Parliament," he said.

11:15 am: Just at the start of the session, the Congress has started targeting Modi government over the Lalit Modi issue. "All Modi's promises over transparency and accountability are being questioned. Government changes but not laws. A minister told UK government to sanction Lalit Modi's travel document's over some humanitarian grounds," Congress leader Anand Sharma said.

11:05 am: BJP distances itself from Shanta Kumar statement, says it is influenced by Congress remarks and based on the campaign run by them. "Perhaps he is not aware of facts. We consider Shanta Kumar to be senior leader but we completely disassociate ourselves with his statement," Rajiv Pratap Rudy said. In a major embarrassment for the BJP, Shanta Kumar wrote a letter to party President Amit Shah saying that the multi-crore Vyapam scam has dented the image of the NDA.

9:44:am Minister of State for Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi: We are ready to discuss each and every issue but the Congress believes in disruptions not discussions. Our MPs have given notices to discuss Uttarakhand relief scam, Goa and Assam watergate scams which has Congress leaders and ministers involved. In Karnataka, there are reports of farmers suicides, we want a discussion on it. Congress doesn't want a healthy discussion on any issue.

09:37:am Venkaiah Naidu: The Opposition has still not recovered from their defeat. They are still blocking development by not allowing acquisition of land. In the all party meeting, except for Congress, all parties want the House to function.

9:29 am: Congress is likely to give an adjournment motion to discuss the controversy arising out of Lalit Modi issue. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu said that External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will be make a statement in the Parliament.

Parliament's Monsoon Session is likely to be a very stormy one. In a strange turn of events, Prime Minister Narendra Modi who rode to power on the anti-corruption platform a year ago will have to answer the charges levelled by opposition parties against some of his own Cabinet and party colleagues in the current session. The Opposition led by the just 44-member Congress looks more energetic and is unlikely to give any breathing space to the government during the session.
