Patna: Lok Janshakti Party president Ram Vilas Paswan, who recently joined hands with the BJP, is once again trying his luck from Hajipur in Bihar in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. He filed his nomination papers on Tuesday.

Paswan is pitted against sitting JDU MP Ramsundar Das and Congress's Sanjeev Prasad Tony. With the backing of the BJP, Paswan wants avenge his defeat at the hands of the 93-year-old Das five years ago.

Paswan has been a seven-time MP is currently a Rajya Sabha MP. He won the Rajya Sabha election with the help of RJD chief Lalu Prasad.

But he is now with the BJP-led NDA, which has been Lalu's arch rival. Paswan, who held the Guinness World Record for winning a Lok Sabha election by the largest margin, is confident that he will do the same once again with the help of the Narendra Modi wave.

On the other hand Das claimed that no wave would be able to stand before the development work of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in Bihar.
