178. Mandal is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Bhilwara Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Mandal falls in Bhilwara district and South region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,45,392 voters in the seat, which includes 1,23,743 male voters, and 1,21,649 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Mandal recorded a voter turnout of 77.2%. In 2013 the turnout was 77.72%, and in 2008 it was 71.4%.
In 2013, Kalu Lal Gujar of BJP won the seat by a margin of 41,434 votes (25.6%). Kalu Lal Gujar secured 56.72% of the total votes polled.
INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 2,316 votes (1.78%), registering 45.12% of the total votes polled.
In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, BJP led in the Mandal Assembly segment of the Bhilwara Parliamentary/Lok Sabha constituency.
