61. Mundawar is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Alwar Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Mundawar falls in Alwar district and Matsya region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a rural seat.
There are a total of 2,14,242 voters in the seat, which includes 1,12,219 male voters, and 1,02,023 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Mundawar recorded a voter turnout of 73.89%. In 2013 the turnout was 78.63%, and in 2008 it was 74.2%.
In 2013, Dharam Pal Choudhary of BJP won the seat by a margin of 29,417 votes (19.73%). Dharam Pal Choudhary secured 54.86% of the total votes polled.
INC won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 3,226 votes (2.58%), registering 45.75% of the total votes polled.
