Nitin Gadkari is not a leader: Congress
The Congress accused the BJP President of being more of a dealer than a leader.

Ranchi: The Congress on Thursday accused BJP President Nitin Gadkari of being more of a dealer than a leader and heading a party that 'believed in sowing the seeds of disharmony'.

"Gadkari is not a leader, he is a dealer," AICC secretary Abdul Manan alleged at a party rally and accused the BJP of shying away from a debate on the 2G spectrum in Parliament.

"The BJP is running away from a debate in Parliament over the 2G spectrum ... but it knows that the foundation of 2G spectrum was laid during the tenure of (late) Pramod Mahajan," claimed Manan.

Stating that the nation was facing several challenges like 'communalism', 'parochialism' and 'regionalism', Manan said "the BJP has the distinction of witnessing one of its former national presidents Bangaru Laxman being caught in a corruption scandal," Manan said.

AICC leader K Keshav Rao asked partymen in Jharkhand to take forward the central flagship programmes and hold meetings even in remote areas to make people aware of the benefits.

PCC President Pradip Kumar Balmachu said the Congress never compromised on issues relating corruption and investigations were on even against its leader Suresh Kalmadi.
