New Delhi: The battle for Bihar is now being aggressively fought on social media too. Just hours after Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted about his rallies in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar took a dig at him it is a golden opportunity for the people to see the Prime Minister as after elections it will be difficult to see him again.
(Even it is for election campaign, Narendra Modi has at least accepted our request to spend a few days in Bihar. It is a golden opportunity for the people of Bihar to see, listen and understand Narendra Modi as after elections it will be difficult to see him)."

The remarks came as Modi visited Bihar on July 25 for the first time after becoming the Prime Minister.
Earlier in the day, Modi tweeted, "Bihar is all set for change. Phenomenal enthusiasm for NDA. Will address rallies in Marhaura, Hajipur, Nalanda and Sona."

Not missing any opportunity, Nitish hit out at Modi for being silent on the gruesome murder of Dalit children in Haryana, Dadri lynching incident and soaring prices of pulses.
Nitish slammed Modi by tweeting, "Modiji was always unmatched in theatrics, rhetoric and using unsubstantiated facts now tactical silence is his new weapon of choice. For someone who doesn’t miss an opportunity to talk or tweet by the minute on literally anything it is baffling that Modiji doesn’t speak a word on issues that exhort the collective conscience of the country or bother the common masses. No words on gruesome killing of Dalit children in Haryana, mob lynching in Dadri or skyrocketing prices of dal."

The Bihar Chief Minister also lashed out at the Prime Minister for forgetting his poll promises and said the state will witness a 'repeat performance'. "No words on promises he made and then conveniently forgot- black money, farmer MSP, youth employment, special status for Bihar- lists goes on. The saga continues, so let us brace ourselves for a repeat performance in Bihar."

The state is witnessing a tough battle between Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance and Janata Dal United-Rashtriya Janata Dal-Congress Mahagathbandhan.
Backing his ally, Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav tweeted, "Modiji, before opening your mouth to mislead innocent Biharis by fabricating furthr lies look at the mirror for unfulfilled promises since 2014."
