220. Ratlam City is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is part of Ratlam (ST) Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Ratlam City falls in Ratlam district and Malwa North region of Madhya Pradesh. It is categorised as a urban seat.
There are a total of 1,97,840 voters in the seat, which includes 1,00,448 male voters, and 97,389 female voters. In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh elections, Ratlam City recorded a voter turnout of 71.82%. In 2013 the turnout was 68.71%, and in 2008 it was 69.21%.
In 2013, Chetanya Kumar Kashyap of BJP won the seat by a margin of 40,305 votes (30.52%). Chetanya Kumar Kashyap secured 57.7% of the total votes polled.
IND won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 31,074 votes (30.2%), registering 60.62% of the total votes polled.
