Rajkumar Pandian and BR Chaubey were suspended over their alleged involvement in the fake encounter.
New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday granted bail to suspended police officials Rajkumar Pandian and BR Chaubey in the Sohrabuddin encounter case.
Both are accused of being involved in the fake encounter.
Pandian has been in jail for seven years now.
Sohrabuddin Sheikh and his wife Kauser Bi were allegedly abducted by Gujarat's Anti-Terrorism Squad from Hyderabad and killed in a fake encounter near Gandhinagar in November 2005.
