There are many movies which are made to inspire people and the society at large. With a similar thinking process, the Telugu movie, Kancharla is being made. Kancharla is produced by SSLS Creations and will feature Kancharla Upendra as the lead hero and Meenakshi Jaiswal and Praneetha as lead actresses. As per the latest updates, the movie is all set to release soon.
Producer Kancharla Atchuta Rao said to a media portal, “At present, we are shooting songs in Kerala, Goa, Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam and other places. On the other hand, we are also doing post-production work.” He further informed that the main theme of this film is that the youth should enter politics and ensure equal distribution of the lands to the poor people. “The film is being made to entertain the audience by combining commercial elements,” he added.
On the same occasion, Kancharla Upendra shared that he was recently part of the movie titled Upendra Gaadi Adda which entertained the audience and won their hearts. He claimed that Kancharla is yet another good movie that his father is making and there have been no compromises to make this movie.
Suman, Ajay Ghosh, Kashi Vishwanath, Sudha, Raja Ravindra, Suman Shetty, Duvvasi Mohan, Jabardast Dorababu, Prakash and others are playing supporting roles. Kunche Raghu is handling the music department of the film. The movie is penned by Prasadula Madhubabu. Kancharla Subbalakshmi and Kancharla Sunitha are the co-producers.
On the other hand, Upendra Gadi Addi was the fifth movie produced by SSLS Creations under Kancharla Atchuta Rao and SK Aryan Subhan directed the movie. It starred Kancharla Upendra and Savitri Krishna which entertained the audience and left them amazed with their exceptional performances. It also featured Kireeti Damaraju and Muralidhar Goud in supporting roles. Even the song, Pokiri Julailu featured the lead actors along with an ensemble of 120 dancers. The movie was reportedly made on a budget of Rs 3.5 Crore. The movie was released on December 1, 2023.
