Big Boss fame actor Roopesh Shetty is set to play a cop in his upcoming film Adhipatra. Directed by Chayan Shetty, Adhipatra also stars actress Jhanvi in the leading role. Filming for the movie is currently underway in the Mutta area near Kharadi in Kundapur (Karnataka). The production has already successfully wrapped up 10 days of shooting. In the film, Roopesh Shetty assumes the role of a police officer, exuding a charismatic presence in his new avatar. He has recently dropped a photo in his latest avatar from the film. The caption of the post reads, “Athreya’s journey has started in the movie Adhipatra, let’s meet soon”. Social media users have commented on the post. One user wrote, “Uff you look so good”. Roopesh Shetty is best known for films like Girgit and Manku Bhai Foxy Rani. He last appeared in the film Circus. The movie was produced by Anil Shetty, Sudhakar Shetty, and Manjunath Attavar under R S Cinema and Shoolin Films. It was shot in Mangalore, Maravoor, and surrounding areas. Notably, the film recently achieved a significant milestone, completing its 50-day theatrical run. To applaud the occasion, the entire Circus team gathered in Bangkok for a celebration.

Roopesh started his career as an RJ before making his debut in the film industry. His acting journey started with the debut film Ice Cream. Initially a supporting artist, Roopesh later took on lead roles, facing a challenging phase with 7-8 consecutive flops. Undeterred, he was back on the track with the film Girgit. Roopesh gained widespread recognition after emerging as the winner in the reality show, Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9.
