Instagram pictures will finally look bigger, better with HD support

New Delhi: All those who loved Instagram for the sheer ease it offered when it came to sharing pictures, but disliked the limited resolution on offer have a reason to feel elated.

The Facebook-owned service has finally upgraded to HD, which means you will be able to see and share better quality pictures.

As Gizmodo notes, until now, Instagram could only handle a limited 640 X 640 resolution. However, with the latest upgrade, you will be able to see your pictures clicked in HD reflected as is.

The updated iOS and Android apps will now let you view, store, or share photos in 1080 X 1080 resolution.

While the update is for the mobile apps, we are yet to see a similar update to the web version.
