New Delhi: Photo and video-sharing service Instagram has undergone a change which will now make it easier for users to discover content across the site as it happens.
The Facebook-owned site has refreshed its Explore tab to include trending tags and places, and has also upgraded its search tool to let you search for particular photos, videos, and tags from all over the community.
Instagram explains in its blog that more than 70 million photos and videos are posted on the site every day and wherever something happened, there were chances of seeing the related content on the platform.
However, until now, there hadn’t been any way to easily find such content. With the all new Explore tab, searching for trending tags, places and people will show up rich content and real-time results. There will also be new curated collections which will be updated on a regular basis and feature interesting accounts and places.
The improved Top search, lets you search for people, places and tags all at once, while the Places search helps you in looking up for just about any location on earth.
The updated Instagram 7.0 for iOS and Android is available on their respective app stores.
