The new tool will let you copy a number on desktop and have it immediately on your phone.

New Delhi: Microsoft is said to be testing a new tool that will make the everyday task of copy-pasting all the more easier and seamless.

Fresh details leaked by Twitter user Walking Cat @h0x0d, Microsoft’s new tool, dubbed OneClip, syncs across devices and platforms- simply put, if you copy a phone number on the desktop, you can immediately have it on your Windows, iOS, or Android phone.

A report on Engadget notes that OneClip is currently in internal beta and only company testers or employees with proper accounts can download it from the Windows Store.

OneClip would function akin to Microsoft’s online cloud storage service-OneDrive- that allows you to save your data, including photos, documents, presentations, etc., on the cloud and access it from anywhere.

The Twitter user has also revealed details about another productivity app for contacts, dubbed Revolve, which keeps tabs on your contacts and calendar to provide information on the people you are scheduled to meet in the day.

Although there is no official word on the upcoming productivity apps; but it is highly speculated that with its overhauled Windows 10 OS, Microsoft will be certainly inserting more productivity apps as consumers have started preferring mobile devices to do activities on-the-go.
