The app has been designed to empower first-time smartphone users and mobile-first users as active participants on the Web.
Mozilla announced Monday that its Webmaker app for Android has come out from beta, after initially presenting the feature in June.
The app has been designed "to empower first-time smartphone users and mobile-first users as active participants on the Web," according to Mozilla.
Webmaker for Android is intended to be easy to understand for all users. The app will help any user who has a device with a browser to build web apps and original content.
The app is so far available in English, Bengali, Brazilian Portuguese and Indonesian, in an attempt to encourage more local content in mobile-first markets.
The company says that the app will be available in additional language formats in the near future.
