Madalsa Sharma Aka Kavya Bids Farewell To Anupamaa In Emotional Post: 'Everything Has To End One Day'
Madalsa Sharma recently announced her exit from the popular TV show, Anupamaa. She played Kavya for nearly four years.

After days of remaining absent from her popular TV show, Anupamaa, Madalsa Sharma has finally bid goodbye to her beloved character Kavya. The actress has been a part of the show since 2020, playing a significant role alongside Rupali Ganguly’s Anupama and Sudhanshu Pandey’s Vanraj. In a heartwarming post, Madalsa penned her emotions as she reflected on her journey. She also thanked her fans for embracing Kavya and showering the character with “so much love and support”.

Stating that she cherished every moment of the show, a grateful Madalsa wrote, “Kavya will always hold a special place in my heart, but everything that begins has to end one day, and now it’s time to say goodbye to “Kavya” and explore new characters and stories. I thank the entire team of Anupama for the beautiful memories that we shared and my special thanks to Rajan Shahi sir for creating Kavya.”

She concluded the note with a promise to return with a new character.

In the post, the actress compiled various clips of Kavya from Anupamaa, as she makes the final departure. This came just a few days after Sudhanshu Pandey also announced his exit from the show. The actor famously played the lead character of Vanraj Shah since its inception.

Speaking to the Times of India, Madalsa Sharma explained her reasons for quitting Anupamaa and said that the story moved on from the lead characters. “Kavya was shown to be an independent and strong woman, who had the guts to fall in love with a married man and pursue him. My character had tremendous growth, but in the past year I felt that the story moved on from Vanraj, Kavya, and Anupama,” she said.

Additionally, she also opened up on rumours of a rift with co-star Rupali Ganguly and added, “No, honestly. When you work in a place for so long, it is common to have certain ups and downs with the people. That is not something you take to heart because you are meeting a lot of people every day. There is nothing that I would rather want to put out there that I had something bad going on with Rupali or any other actor.”

Madalsa is yet to share details about her future ventures.
