Saath Nibhana Saathiya fame Devoleena Bhattacharjee is soon going to embrace motherhood. After almost two years of marriage, she is expecting her first child with her husband, Shahnawaz Shaikh. It seems like the expecting mother is enjoying every bit of her pregnancy journey, as she often shares glimpses of herself flaunting her growing baby bump.

Devoleena recently posted on her Instagram account pictures of herself taken during the golden hour. The post opened with a photo of the actress dressed in a powder-blue flowy gown, staring into nothingness as she cradled her baby bump. In the next pictures, Devoleena gave a sneak peek at her plant-filled balcony while she candidly posed for the camera. While the actress shared the post with just a nazar amulet, a smiling face with hearts and sparkles emojis, the pictures conveyed her feelings of happiness and gratitude.

Not long ago, Devoleena shared another post, but this time with the to-be-dad as well. The couple delighted their fans by sharing a series of pictures taken in a corner of their home while they soaked in the sun. They were beaming with happiness as they cherished every moment of this chapter of their lives. The post opened with a picture of the parents-to-be looking lost in each others’ eyes. Following this were some candid moments of the couple on their balcony on a beautiful and bright sunlit day. For the pictures, Devoleena slipped into a beige full-sleeved bodycon dress while her husband, who lovingly caressed her baby bump, complemented her in a black floral shirt and pants.

Devoleena announced her pregnancy through her Instagram account on August 15. The actress’ announcement came after months of speculation. She shared a post featuring pictures from a sacred ritual that was performed at her home and was attended by her family and friends. Sharing the post, Devoleena revealed, “Celebrating the divine journey to motherhood with the sacred Panchamrit ritual, where tradition and love blend to bless the mother and her unborn child with health, prosperity, and joy during this beautiful chapter of life.” Meanwhile, the actress was also seen holding a “You can stop asking now” onesie in the pictures.

On the work front, Devoleena is now working on the TV show Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya alongside Sara Khan, Jaya Bhattacharya, and Brinda Dahal, among others.
