Sudesh Lehri On Nia Sharma Accidentally Pushing Him On Laughter Chefs Set: ‘She Kept Crying’

Despite going off-air, Colors TV’s Laughter Chefs continues to make headlines, for the camaraderie between the participants and their fun antics on the sets. Among all, the unconventional pairing of Nia Sharma and Sudesh Lehri was loved by many and remained one of the highlights of the show. In one of the episodes, Nia accidentally pushed Sudesh which left the comedian with a knee injury. Recently Sudesh opened up about the incident and how it left Nia Sharma deeply hurt in a podcast with the host of the show Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa.

Talking about Nia Sharma’s reaction post the incident, Sudesh Lehri shared that the actress kept apologising to him and was heartbroken for unintentionally hurting him. Adding that he tried to hide the details about his injury, Sudesh recalled, “Usne shoot k dauran thoda sa push kia tha, apne taraf se kaun karta hai wo shoot ke liye kia tha. Toh jab muje lagi, Maine koshish ki ke usey pata Na lage. Maine usse kaha b kuch nahi hua par usey pata lag gaya ke muje lagi hai. Main toh nahi roya par wo bechari itna royi (She pushed me a little during the shoot. Who does that intentionally, she did it for the shoot. So when I was hurt, I tried not to let her know. I didn’t tell her anything but when she came to know that I was hurt, I didn’t cry but she cried a lot).” Later Bharti mentioned that Nia Sharma also went to his house in the middle of the night to apologise.

As Laughter Chefs concluded on October 4, Nia Sharma shared a heartfelt post on Instagram sharing that she had the “nicest time ever on a set.” The post saw her partying with her co-participants on the cooking-based comedy show at what appeared to be Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain’s home in Mumbai. the delightful images featured Arjun Bijlani, Krushna Abhishek, Reem Shaikh, Jannat Zubair, Aly Goni and Kashmera Shah. She also attached a video capturing some fun-filled moments as they grooved to the music together. In her caption, she wrote, “This is Us, ViBe: Pure goals. Laughterchefs. Probably the nicest time ever on a set. Onscreen and offscreen, it was only love and laughter throughout.”

There were also swirling rumours around Nia Sharma entering the Bigg Boss 18 house. However, a day before the premiere of the show, the actress clarified that she was not participating in the reality show, although mentioning that she was “overwhelmed by the tremendous support, love and crazy hype.”
