A video of a minor girl riding a scooter while his father sits as a pillion has gone viral and sparked a debate on social media. The young girl, in school uniform, was seen riding the two-wheeler without a helmet. The clip soon became a subject of discussion on road safety and parental responsibility.
The video, said to be from Maharashtra, was shared on Instagram, with the caption, “Shocking visuals from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.”
As soon as the clip was shared, netizens expressed their disapproval, saying parents must ensure the safety of their kids and others on the road. A user commented, “Where is the helmet, sir? Na khud pehna na beti ko pehnaya hai (Neither has he worn it, nor have made his daughter wear it).”
Another user noted, “Arrest the father,” while a third said, “That’s the reason so many accidents are happening. I am not sure what kind of parenting is this?”
