At This MP Wedding, Villagers Spot Eagle And Call It Bride’s Deceased Father
The villagers believe that the deceased father of the bride came in the form of an eagle and blessed the couple.

A bizarre incident occurred in a village in the Damoh district of Madhya Pradesh. An eagle attended all the wedding rituals, and locals believed it to be the bride’s father. It sat on the bride’s head after the garland ceremony and blessed the girl. The bride’s family honoured the eagle’s presence by offering it food and water. The marriage was held at Ranjra village. The villagers believe that the deceased father of the bride came in the form of an eagle and blessed the couple. The guests were surprised to see the eagle’s calm nature during the ceremony and its presence in all the rituals of the marriage.

Before the wedding, in an unfortunate accident, the father of the bride Jalam Singh Lodhi died near Talaiya in Abhana village of Damoh district. Since the marriage of daughter Imarti was already fixed on April 21, the families of the bride and groom decided to go ahead with a simple ceremony in a temple. The marriage was solemnised in the Chandi Mata temple of the village.

The bride’s family member, Ganesh Lodhi, said that after they returned in the morning on the wedding day after immersing her husband – Jalam Singh Lodhi’s ashes, an eagle unexpectedly came and sat on the roof of the house. Then it came near Nonibai (bride’s mother) and sat on her lap. Thinking that the eagle was hungry and thirsty, she gave him food, milk and water. During this time, the eagle did not harm the people near it and the villagers also treated the bird with love and care.

While the family started leaving for the wedding, the eagle sat on the shoulder of a young man and reached the wedding venue with him, added Ganesh Lodhi. The eagle observed the whole wedding while sitting on a chair near the stage.

After the ceremony, the eagle reportedly flew and sat on the bride’s head and started flapping its wings. It seemed as if he was blessing the bride. Ganesh Lodhi said that after all the marriage rituals were completed, the eagle flew away from there and suddenly disappeared. The villagers believe that the bride’s father Jalam Singh had come in the form of a bird to bless his daughter. The reason for the sudden appearance and disappearance of the eagles is still a topic of discussion among the villagers.
