Man Dresses Up As Penguin To Propose To His Girlfriend, Reason Will Shock You
The man, Andrew, proposed to his girlfriend Kate inside a penguin enclosure with the generous help of the Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens staff.

When it comes to proposing, people dress to impress. Interestingly, a man from England decided to dress in a penguin costume when he proposed to his girlfriend. Andrew proposed to his girlfriend Kate inside a penguin enclosure with the generous help of the Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens staff. The proposal was a success and the couple is now happily married. Recently, the Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens in England explained how they helped Andrew in orchestrating this proposal. In an Instagram post, the wildlife park explained, “A few years ago, Andrew and his then-girlfriend Kate visited the Park. Kate loves Penguins almost as much as she loves Andrew (which is quite a lot). Andrew, along with keepers at the Park, planned something special for his girlfriend. They were booked in for a Penguin Encounter. Keepers kept Kate busy by feeding the Penguins while Andrew made an excuse to pop back to the car.”

While Kate was distracted by the staff, Andrew returned in his Penguin outfit. He then got on his knee and proposed to Kate who was surprised at the gesture. She said “yes” as the delighted crowd of visitors cheered them from the sidelines.

Then years later proposed in front of the red pandas.”

Last December, a wholesome video went viral that showed a male penguin bringing a shiny pebble to a female penguin as part of a courting ritual. This video gathered over 11 lakh likes.

The male Adelie and Gentoo penguins, who live on rocky shores, are known for bringing shiny and smooth pebbles to female penguins in a bid to impress them. The penguins carry the pebbles in between their beaks. The shiny pebble is seen as a ‘gift’ or an ‘offering’. If the female penguin accepts the offering, then she uses it to make a nest. The two flightless birds come together to build a nest that is used for laying the eggs. A well-built penguin nest can contain hundreds of stones. Usually, male penguins are responsible for collecting stones for building the nest.
