Chicken dance has once again become a trend on social media. Many users have been seen pulling off the prank on their close ones and most of the videos are going viral. Mohinder Singh Sidhu, popular as Papa Sidhu to the Instagram community, was also captured doing the awkward dance in a recent post. His son, Pushpek Sidhu was the one who made the 65-year-old do the viral “Chicken Dance” on camera. Two other family members joined Pushpek for the prank. The video has garnered over 2.5 million views on Instagram so far.
The clip opens with Pushpek adjusting the camera, with Papa Sidhu taking centre stage. Everyone present in the room was supposed to match the iconic steps of the “chicken song.” But once the music started, Pushpak and the other two people stepped aside.
Papa Sidhu, however, was not aware of their plans. He went on to dance emphatically. The others including Pushpek were left in splits after their prank went successful. “Chicken dance prank with Papa Sidhu,” read the caption of the Instagram post.
The comment box was flooded with numerous laughing emojis. Papa Sidhu himself reacted to the post and dropped a sarcastic remark, referring to his son Pushpek. “Even better prank was when God pranked me and made you my son,” wrote Papa Sidhu. “What papa,” Pushpek replied with a few sad emoticons.
Viewers certainly loved Papa Sidhu’s savage reaction. One of them simply said, “Never mess with Papa Sidhu.” “Emotional damage,” quipped a user. Another person suggested that Pushpek should have added his dad’s reaction to any prank video as “that would be the best part.” A person jokingly said that Pushpek may be “disowned” by his father for pulling out the hilarious prank.
Papa Sidhu has a massive follower base across social media. The Canada-based content creator rose to fame in early 2023. In most of his videos, Papa Sidhu portrays the role of a savage Punjabi dad. He has already accumulated over 1,40,000 followers on Instagram with his comedy content and engaging sketches. He created a video featuring the Coke and Mentos experiment to discuss mental health which created much buzz across social media platforms.
