This wasn’t the first tech worker getting attention for earning a high salary while doing little work. Last month, an Amazon employee made headlines after sharing on the anonymous platform Blind that he earns $370,000 a year (approximately Rs 3 Crore), while hardly doing any work.
While the original post has been deleted, a screenshot was shared on X, where the employee mentioned that he joined Amazon after he was laid off from Google. He admitted that he only performed minimal tasks and successfully avoided getting supervisors attention.
