Mom’s Brave Act Saves Toddler From Falling Off Car’s Roof, Internet Lauds Her Action

A parent will go to any length to protect their child from harm or a deadly accident. They rarely consider their own safety and try to protect their children at all costs. Recently, a video is doing rounds that shows a mother’s heroic deed to save her kid from a car’s roof while playing with the father. While most internet users lauded the mother’s presence of mind, some also were disappointed at the father for being careless around the child.

The video shared on Instagram shows a father playing with the child on the car’s bonnet. Once the child was free from the parent, it started climbing up the roof of the car. The child’s action only exacerbated the situation, increasing the likelihood of a terrible fall. While the father rushed to the other end, the toddler shifted to the other side. Soon, the mother rushed to the rescue and climbed the roof. She got hold of the baby and assisted it down. The incident was captured on CCTV but the date of the incident could not be confirmed.

The video has received over 57 million views and a slew of reactions.

Many also thought that the mother overreacted. One person said, “Dad had it all under control, mom’s intervention was totally unnecessary,” while another commented, “Mom over reacted. I used to do this as a kid too. The dad was there. I doubt anything would’ve happened. If she was smarter she’d just unlock the car so that when the dad wants he can climb up and grab him.”

A few days back, a truck driver was being lauded for saving a child on the road. A video circulating online showed the child narrowly avoiding an accident with a speeding truck. In the clip, the child could be seen attempting to cross a road with a friend. He was observed sprinting across the street. However, in his haste, he neglected to investigate the other side of the road, resulting in his dashing in front of the vehicle. Fortunately, the driver was quick to apply the brakes, bringing the truck to a halt just before it impacted the toddler. The youngster was able to flee unharmed. His friend chose to run back to the other side.
