The grand Pran Partishtha ceremony took place at the Ram Janmbhoomi Temple in Ayodhya on Monday. On this historic moment, Amul took to its social media handles to share a creative topical. The viral artwork features the iconic Amul girl standing barefoot with folded hands in front of the Ram Mandir, accompanied by the text, “Temple of a billion hopes.” Amul captioned the post as, “Topical: Ayodhya Ram Temple inauguration.”

The post has gained significant attention on social media, accumulating over 1 lakh likes. Leading Pran Pratishtha, PM Modi expressed his emotions, stating that it was a poignant moment as Lord Ram finally arrived in Ayodhya after years of anticipation. News agency ANI shared the video of Prime Minister Modi saying, “Ram Lalla will no longer reside in a tent as this great temple has been consecrated for him.”

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, addressing a gathering after the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, emphasised the historic nature of the moment, noting that the temple had been built after a 500-year-long wait. He expressed his emotions, stating, “There are some feelings in my heart that I cannot find words to express. Everyone is emotional and happy. On this historic moment, every city and village in the country has turned into Ayodhya.”

Speaking after the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, CM Yogi Adityanath affirmed that the Ram Temple has been constructed at the very site where the resolution to build it was made many years ago.

The event saw over 7,000 attendees, including politicians, celebrities, industrialists, saints, and approximately 100 representatives from different countries.

The Ram Mandir, designed in the traditional Nagara style by Chandrakant Sompura and his son Ashish, boasts dimensions of 380 feet in length, 250 feet in width and 161 feet in height. The area covered by the temple complex is around 70 acres, with the main temple area occupying nearly 2.7 acres and a built-up area of approximately 57,000 square feet.
