The actress dancing in a blue chiffon saree in the rain is an image ingrained in everyone’s mind. Till now, the song has a separate fan base because of its touching lyrics and exceptional music. So, it is only fair that this song makes its way to reels. One reel has become viral after a wife can be seen trying to romance her husband by dancing, but it is the reaction of the husband that has everyone’s attention. The reel features a woman in a yellow saree and matching blouse with a wet hair look dancing to the song Kate Nahi Katate Ye Din Ye Raat. She can be seen channelling her Sridevi vibes as she thrusts her hips and sways her waist in an attempt to get the attention of her husband who seems to be watching TV.
The clip begins with a man sitting on the sofa in a black vest and shorts. While his wife enters the frame, he can be seen looking elsewhere. The wife begins grooving to the romantic track of the 80s while her husband pretends to ignore her. When she asks for his hand, he offers but continues to keep an expressionless face.
The clip has received more than 1 million views on Instagram and has quickly become viral on the internet. Many found the clip to be amusing because of no reaction from the husband. Jokingly, a user wrote, “Shadi ke 15 saal ke baad aisa hee hota hai (After being married for 15 years, this is what happens), while another commented, “Nice. But kaise husband hai ye (What kind of a husband is he) no reaction?” One wrote, “Bhaisaab bore ho rahe hai jabardasti ka natak dekh ke (The man is getting bored after seeing his wife’s drama).”
Kate Nahi Katate Ye Din Ye Raat is one of the iconic songs that Kishore Kumar and Alisha Chinai have crooned. The music director of the song is the famous duo, Laxmikant-Pyarelal and is penned by Javed Akhtar.
